Demos delivered in this session
- Extending Microsoft Lists templates with View Formatting – Take the awesome new modern Microsoft List templates and extend them even further. Specifically, Chris Kent shows 2 View Formatting samples (PnP extensions) – Employee onboarding and Issue Tracker that both deliver a tiles view – Onboarding Step cards and Planner cards. Implement the view by copying the entire JSON sample file and pasting it in the list Format View’s properties pane. Cards are editable.
- Microsoft Teams app template – New Employee Onboarding – New employee onboarding (NEO) solution that is a collaboration between SharePoint team’s new employee onboarding hub template in look book (including cost-effective content back-end and lists) and Teams NEO app front-end. Onboarding is broken into a series of User Flows – that organize, remind, update, prompt, track, route, close tasks to efficiently deliver a structured and complete onboarding experience – day 1 to 90+.
- Power Automate with SharePoint On-Prem List to automate business processes – How it was done – Power Automate with SharePoint On-Prem List and a secure Cross Bank Access Request scenario delivered by a customer citizen developer. Processes/Flows are defined in words and on an intake form. The creator then steps through how she accounts for missing information, changes in bank personnel, nested conditions, and more, after which the Flows are created and methodically validated.
